Description

MPathic-VR is a virtual patient educational system for training communication skills.

This collaborative project was funded by the Department of Health and Human Services for the purposes of creating a virtual system for training and assessing complex communication skills in healthcare, using high-fidelity virtual patients.

My role was to assist with scenario script writing and refinement with regard to learning objectives. I eventually spun this work into my PhD dissertation, by comparing the effects of narrative and didactic performance feedback on learning and retention of intercultural communication skills.
